Independent testing looks beyond the specifications to examine professional performance, build quality, compact design and the flexibility of the shared 24V battery platform.

24V PowerAll, localized operations, Greenworks Commercial and AiMowbot form a broader platform for long-term growth across Europe.

More than 60 new tools and nearly 100 accessories extend the shared-battery ecosystem to Walmart stores nationwide and online.

The appointment brings consumer, technology and manufacturing experience to Greenworks’ next stage of North American growth.

Certified handheld tools and walk-behind mowers extend a commercial system built for long shifts, lower noise and zero exhaust emissions.
Greenworks Pro PowerAll was put under the microscope by the independent Torque Test Channel, giving buyers a closer look at how three compact 24V impact wrenches perform beyond their published specifications.
The review covered the IW5370, IW5550 and IW5800. Each tool was evaluated for output, size, weight, cost, construction and real-world performance. The reviewers also opened the tools to examine their internal components and engineering decisions.
The testing highlighted a consistent theme across the range: strong fastening performance without the size and price typically associated with professional tools. The mid-torque and compact models stood out for delivering useful power in bodies designed to remain manageable during long work sessions or in confined spaces.
Build quality was another point of focus. The internal inspection supported the impression that the tools were engineered as working equipment rather than as occasional-use products, with attention given to the motor, gearing, electronics and housing.
PowerAll’s 24V battery is designed as more than a power source for a single category. Compatible packs support bi-directional USB-C charging at up to 65 watts, allowing users to charge a battery by USB-C or use that same battery to power phones, tablets and other devices. Traditional Greenworks chargers remain available for users who prefer a dedicated charging station.
The same platform connects more than 200 compatible products across power tools, lawn and garden, home cleaning and lifestyle applications. For a buyer, that compatibility can reduce the number of chargers and spare batteries needed as the collection grows.
The independent results reinforce PowerAll’s central proposition: professional capability, approachable pricing and a battery platform that remains useful across a much wider product ecosystem. Buyers can start with the tool they need now and add compatible products later without rebuilding the system around a new battery.
Greenworks is advancing a deeper localization strategy in Europe, combining the launch of 24V PowerAll power tools with dealer partnerships, regional operations and a broader portfolio for residential, professional and commercial users.
“Europe is one of the world’s most important markets for power tools and a key pillar of Greenworks’ global strategy.” — Chen Yin, CEO of Greenworks
At a recent European dealer conference, Chen Yin announced the official European launch of the new 24V PowerAll power-tool range. With introductions now completed across the United States, Asia Pacific and Europe, the platform has established a global footprint and a new stage of scaled operations.
The power-tool market is shifting from competition between individual products toward unified battery platforms, cross-application compatibility and connected ecosystems. Greenworks is applying more than two decades of lithium-ion experience from outdoor power equipment to a 24V range built for both home DIY users and professional trades.
The DIY line addresses routine maintenance and project work around the home. The Pro line is designed for more demanding use by carpenters, electricians, plumbers, scaffolders and automotive technicians. Certain applications combine two 24V packs to deliver 48V performance while keeping users within the same PowerAll ecosystem.
Compared with conventional 18V or 20V platforms, the Greenworks system adds an extra battery cell for greater power and runtime. Brushless motors support torque, efficiency and durability, while compatible USB-C batteries and a gallium-nitride fast charger allow the same energy platform to support tools, phones and computers.
Greenworks is strengthening its European presence through a dual channel model that combines direct operations with dealer partnerships. The approach is intended to broaden market coverage and improve coordinated pre-sales and after-sales support.
The company is also expanding regional warehousing and operating capacity. Its European operations center in Florence, Italy, supports markets across the continent and is designed to help dealers and end users receive faster local service.
Greenworks Commercial has entered the European market with premium commercial equipment for landscape service providers, contractors and institutional customers. Supported by the 82V OPTIMUS platform, the portfolio covers mowing, trimming, cleaning and other demanding applications.
Greenworks is also developing products around European gardens and urban green spaces. The AiMowbot C Series launched in Europe in 2026, while the G Series debuted at the dealer conference with technologies including intelligent slope climbing and active obstacle avoidance.
Across 24V, 48V (24V × 2) and 82V systems, Greenworks is building a European portfolio that moves from mainstream home products to professional PowerAll tools and commercial OPTIMUS equipment. The company’s wider global operating system now spans research and development, manufacturing, sales and service in more than 190 countries and regions.
Greenworks has expanded its North American retail footprint with the exclusive Walmart launch of its 24V PowerAll professional-grade power-tool range in the United States.
The new range significantly broadens Greenworks’ home-DIY portfolio. Products will be available through Walmart stores nationwide and online, extending access to a battery ecosystem designed for homeowners, DIY users and professional applications.
The launch builds on an established retail relationship that already includes Greenworks 60V lawn and garden equipment. By adding the 24V PowerAll tool range, the two companies are extending the platform from outdoor maintenance into everyday building, repair and project work.
At the launch, Greenworks presented 24V PowerAll tools alongside 60V mowers, the 80V MAXIMUS range, pressure washers, blowers and other flagship products. Hands-on demonstrations allowed guests to compare the tools’ power, balance and ease of use.
“By developing greener, more convenient and more intelligent battery-powered tools, we aim to provide users around the world with solutions that are both more efficient and more sustainable.” — Chen Yin, CEO of Greenworks
PowerAll is designed around shared-battery compatibility. One 24V pack can move among products across power tools, lawn and garden, cleaning and lifestyle categories. That approach can lower ownership cost, reduce charger clutter and make it easier for users to expand the system over time.
The 24V range uses brushless motors and a six-cell battery design to support power, runtime and a strong power-to-weight ratio. Compatible batteries include USB-C functionality, while a gallium-nitride fast charger supports rapid charging for tools and common digital devices.
Two 24V packs can also work together in compatible products to deliver 48V output. This gives users a path from everyday tools to higher-demand applications without leaving the PowerAll battery family.
PowerAll forms the foundation of a broader Greenworks portfolio that also includes premium MAXIMUS products and the commercial OPTIMUS system. Together, those platforms connect equipment for residential users, managed properties and professional crews.
The Walmart introduction represents a shift from a lawn-and-garden specialist toward a full-category battery ecosystem. Greenworks plans to keep expanding product choice, retail availability and core technologies as it grows the Greenworks Power platform internationally.
Greenworks appointed Kevin Holzworth as President of Greenworks North America, effective February 23, 2026, placing an experienced consumer-products leader at the center of the company’s next stage of regional growth.
In the role, Holzworth leads North American operations and is responsible for strategic growth, commercial expansion and portfolio innovation. His remit connects consumer retail, professional users and commercial customers across the region.
Before the appointment, Holzworth served as Greenworks’ Senior Vice President of Consumer. His background spans consumer goods, technology and manufacturing, with experience in retail sales, market strategy and the development of customer-focused product portfolios.
Holzworth’s priorities include accelerating innovation, improving the customer experience and strengthening partnerships across major retail, professional and commercial channels. The goal is to connect Greenworks’ battery technology with products and service models designed for the way North American customers work.
The appointment comes as Greenworks continues to expand beyond individual tools into shared battery platforms, intelligent mowing and commercial electrification. With more than two decades of battery-equipment experience, the company is positioning lower-noise, zero-exhaust solutions as practical alternatives for homes, businesses and professional crews.
Greenworks Commercial expanded its OPTIMUS portfolio with handheld equipment and walk-behind mowers that earned American Green Zone Alliance Field-Tested Certification after extended professional evaluation.
The certification program subjected the equipment to as many as 1,000 hours of field use. Testing focused on the factors that matter to working crews: power, runtime, ergonomics, serviceability, durability and the ability to support profitable daily operation.
Evaluation took place through Greenworks facilities in Morristown, Tennessee, and Changzhou, with feedback gathered from real operating conditions rather than short laboratory demonstrations.
The certified lineup includes an 82V backpack blower, hedge trimmers, fixed and telescoping pole tools, multiple string trimmers, an edger, and 22-inch and 30-inch self-propelled walk-behind mowers.
OPTIMUS connects commercial equipment through a shared 82V battery platform. For municipalities, campuses, landscape contractors and other professional users, the system is designed to reduce fuel handling, lower routine maintenance and cut jobsite noise while producing zero exhaust emissions during operation.
The certification adds third-party field evidence to the broader move toward battery-powered commercial maintenance. It also gives crews a clearer way to evaluate electric equipment around productivity and operating results—not simply environmental claims.
