Today’s solar market is primarily run by price. The current economic crisis has been pushing the relatively young and new market to a corner where everyone has to fight a price war. Just before the economic downturn, solar energy was the most promising industry, and companies rushed to build new factories to get economy of scale and to raise entry barrier. This resulted in excessive capacity and pushed the industry to today’s price war.
